Former Bolinas Museum Director Dolores Richards (now retired) saw the importance of establishing a permanent collection of contemporary photography for the Museum. This exhibition features works that she brought into the collection by invitation to important local photographers and some photographers who had exhibitions in the photography gallery of the Museum. Selections from the collection are exhibited in the Permanent Collection gallery and in periodic exhibitions like this one. The collection will continue to grow and preserve exceptional work for future generations to appreciate. |
